Participant applications for freshmen and sophomores open on Monday, July 28, 2025. The priority deadline is Sunday, August 24, 2025. Students applying by the priority deadline will receive first consideration for the limited spots available for Fall Retreats.
The program fee is $175. Financial assistance is available for the program fee and for the cost of transportation to and from the program for all students
The program fee is non-refundable after Friday, September 12, 2025 for Texas Retreat and Friday, October 10, 2025 for Alabama Retreat.

Mentor Application &
Timeline
College seniors and young professionals are invited to apply as mentors to the program. Mentors are an integral part of the College Retreat experience as they are responsible for delivering content, providing students with advice and guidance, supporting program operations, and maintaining a safe environment for all at College Retreat. Mentors at College Retreat will be able to meet fellow young professionals, build leadership skills, and help shape the next generation of Ismaili students.
College seniors and young professionals from the following regions are eligible to apply as Mentors for each Retreat:
The priority deadline for mentor applications is Sunday, August 3, 2025. Mentors will be interviewed on a rolling basis as applications are received. Mentors will receive an update on their application by mid-August for Texas Retreat and mid-September for Alabama Retreat.
Mentors are expected to commit to three virtual training (up to 90 minutes each) in the weeks leading into the program, likely on weeknights along with 1-2 program planning calls to plan activities or experiential elements. In addition, mentors are required to arrive at the site by 11am on the Friday of their respective Retreat for a site walkthrough and an on-site training.
